Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for an Associate Optometrist at Washington Eye Surgeons, PLLC in Seattle, WA. The Associate Optometrist will conduct comprehensive eye exams, perform refraction and contact lens fitting, manage dry eyes, and provide post-operative care for cataract patients. The role also involves collaborating with our ophthalmologist to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
This salaried position is at 0.6 FTE and comes with benefits, including health insurance, PTO, CME allowance, and 401K.
Requirements
-OD degree from an accredited optometry program
-Knowledge of performing comprehensive eye exams and interpreting diagnostic results
-Experience in diagnosing ocular diseases and co-managing cataract surgeries
-Effective communication and interpersonal skills to provide patient education and interact with team members
-Passion for patient care and commitment to delivering high-quality services
-Previous experience in a clinical or surgical setting is a plus
