Seeking an excellent surgeon for busy surgical practice. We have a 5,500 sq ft recently remodeled office facility and are part owners in a new multi-specialty surgery center. The office contains a laser suite with a Mel 80 and Visumax laser with up-to-date testing equipment. We offer co-management with optometrists in the southeastern New Mexico area. At present we are the only surgical ophthalmologists in southeastern New Mexico. Buy-in to the clinic and surgery center is available after 1-3 years. The practice is in a rural area with an airport that has connection to international airports.
The ideal candidate is motivated, confident and with interest in performing high-volume. We perform cataract surgery, refractive surgery, oculoplastic surgery, corneal transplant surgery, glaucoma surgery, strabismus surgery, and medical retinal procedures. The ideal candidate would be able to begin as soon as possible in this fast-paced clinic. We value work and life balance as we offer this position as a 4-day work week with 3 days off.
Current partners in the practice have been practicing for over 35 years and are willing to mentor the new associate if needed. Funds are available to pay off student loans through the state of New Mexico with a five-year commitment. Salary and Benefits will be openly discussed during the interview process.
Roswell is a small community of about 55,000 people surrounded by other small towns with a surrounding population of about 350,000. We are the hub for this rural area. Our cost of living is a fraction of what it costs in most of the US.
