- Clinical Associate Position in Endocrine Surgery at Cleveland Clinic
Description
The Cleveland Clinic Department of Endocrine Surgery is searching to fill a year-long position with the Center for Endocrine Surgery. The Clinical Associate will be exposed to a wide breadth of endocrine and abdominal surgical procedures as well as solid organ oncology with particular emphasis on implementing emerging technologies and surgical ultrasound to the field of conventional and minimally invasive/robotic endocrine surgery. Clinical responsibilities will include management of patients undergoing laparoscopic and robotic adrenalectomy, laparoscopic liver ablation, thyroid RFA, as well as conventional thyroid and parathyroid surgery. The clinical associate will be expected to be involved with clinical research projects related to this practice. The candidate must have completed an ACGME General Surgery Residency with a passion for endocrine surgery, preferentially having had a good exposure to endocrine surgery in training. Based on the skillset and competence, there will be an opportunity to develop a transition to practice experience to allow the Clinical Associate increased autonomy and experience prior to seeking a permanent Endocrine Surgeon position.
