We are an established, patient-centered solo ophthalmology practice providing comprehensive eye care to a diverse patient population. The practice emphasizes high-quality clinical care, continuity of patient relationships, and a collaborative work environment. The incoming ophthalmologist will work closely with the practice owner and staff to support clinical growth and long-term sustainability.
The associate ophthalmologist will provide comprehensive medical and surgical ophthalmic care, participate in shared call coverage, and collaborate in practice operations as appropriate. Requirements
Clinical Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive ophthalmic evaluations and ongoing care. Diagnose and manage medical and surgical eye conditions, including but not limited to: Cataracts, Glaucoma, Diabetic eye disease, Macular Degeneration, Dry eye disease, and Ocular surface disorders. Perform in-office procedures and surgical cases as credentialed (e.g., cataract surgery, laser procedures). Review diagnostic testing (OCT, visual fields, fundus photography, etc.). Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation. Coordinate care with optometrists, primary care physicians, and subspecialists as needed.
Call & Coverage:
Participate in shared call coverage with the practice owner. Provide timely patient follow-up and emergency care as required.
Practice & Administrative Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the practice owner on patient flow, clinical protocols, and quality initiatives. Participate in staff communication and clinical team meetings. Support practice growth through patient satisfaction, community reputation, and referring-provider relationships. Comply with all regulatory, billing, and documentation standards.
