Our office is in need of and very motivated to find an orthopedic surgeon, subspecializing in hand surgery who desires to practice in the South Bay as an independent contractor.  Orthopaedic Surgical Specialists (ossmd.com) is a private practice located in Torrance, California.  This position is part-time and ideal for a hand specialist with an interest in acute and chronic conditions of the elbow, forearm, wrist and hand which could require the spectrum of treatment from fracture treatment, local injections, reconstruction and arthroplasty.  This private practice allows for a combination of independence and collegiality.  Office call and ER call ARE NOT required.  The office patient population and referral base would easily support half to a full day each week in the office and OR.  Our office staff is well trained, always helpful and will allow for efficient and effortless supplemental income.  This subspecialty practice would readily grow with time and dedication.  As an independent contractor the new surgeon would be responsible for their own malpractice insurance.  As we are very motivated, the new orthopedic specialist will keep the vast majority of their fees.

Completion of Orthopedic Surgery Residency

Completion of Hand Surgery Fellowship

One year post-fellowship with majority clinical and surgical hand experience
