Description

The Department of Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai- NY is looking to fill a House Staff Research position to start duties on July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 for the 2026-2027 academic year.  All applicants must be a current PGY-2 or PGY-3 surgery resident in good standing in an ACGME-accredited residency in General Surgery.  The resident will participate in research projects on health outcomes and surgical education. 

Requirements

                    Medical school diploma

                    Medical school transcript

                    USMLE Transcript (a first-time pass on all three exams is required) 

                    ECFMG certificate (if applicable)

                    Defined Category Case Log Report

                    3 current letters of recommendation, 1 from current Program Director (can be sent as separate files)

                    ABSITE Score Reports

                    ACLS, BLS, ATLS, FLS and FES certifications (if applicable)
