Role Overview: As the Operations Manager, you will be the backbone of our orthopedic practice. Your mission is to bridge the gap between clinical excellence and administrative efficiency. You will oversee daily business functions—from patient flow and staffing to financial health and compliance—ensuring our surgeons can focus on patient care while the practice runs like a well-oiled machine.
Key Responsibilities
1. Practice Leadership & Strategy
Workflow Optimization: Evaluate and improve patient intake, scheduling, and discharge processes to minimize wait times and maximize surgeon productivity.
Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance of the physical office space and clinical equipment.
2. Financial Oversight
Inventory Control: Maintain oversight of high-cost orthopedic supplies, implants, and bracing (DME) to prevent waste and stockouts.
3. Human Resources & Staff Management
Team Development: Recruit, hire, and train administrative and clinical support staff (MAs, scribes, front desk).
Performance Management: Conduct regular reviews and foster a culture of accountability and high-quality "bedside manner" at the front desk.
Compliance: Ensure the practice stays compliant with HIPAA, OSHA, and labor laws.
4. Patient Experience & Marketing
Quality Assurance: Handle patient feedback and grievances with empathy and professional resolution
Requirements
Experience: 5+ years of executive-level management experience, healthcare preferred
Demonstrate knowledge of management, practice operations, and process improvement experience
Ability to work collaboratively and participate in a team approach
Ability in critical thinking and problem-solving
Excellent, organizational, analytical, and time management skills
