Pelvic Health Physiotherapist

Part-time / Flexible hours

Pelvic Fit Physiotherapy is a growing, values-driven clinic specialising in Women's, Men's and Pelvic Health across all the life stages. We pride ourselves on providing evidence-based, compassionate care in a supportive and empowering environment. 

We consult inside The Bays Hospital Mornington, working alongside supportive OB/GYNs. We have a strong referral base including Obstetricians, Gynaecologists, Urologists and Gastroenterologists; as well as local GPs and allied health practitioners.

You will manage a varied caseload which is predominantly private patients, including some Medicare EPC and DVA. You will have access to tools such as Real-time ultrasound and pessaries to enable you to treat Women, Men and some paediatric pelvic health conditions. We have a large caseload of pregnancy and post-natal, so birth prep education and a passion for working with women within the childbearing years is essential.

Requirements

About You:

• AHPRA-registered Physiotherapist
• Postgraduate training in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy preferred
• Qualified to perform internal vaginal / rectal examinations
• Experience in assessing and treating pelvic floor dysfunction, including continence, pelvic pain, sexual health, and post-surgical rehabilitation
• Excellent communication and patient-centred care skills
• Passion for ongoing learning and evidence based practice
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Interest in Clinical Pilates
