Job DescriptionThe Surgical Sciences Division at theDepartment of Surgery is seeking a highly motivated and creative postdoctoralresearcher with a strong research background in molecular and cellular biology.Research in our lab focuses on epigenetic and genetic mechanisms of pathologicconditions that occurred during liver and kidney transplantation by usingstate-of-the-art technologies such as single cell genomics. Our Division providesthe postdoctoral researcher with unique opportunities to be exposed to a broadrange of concepts, techniques, and collaborative projects. Selected candidateswill perform highly interdisciplinary and translational scientific research involveshuman cell lines, mouse models, and clinical samples.

Qualifications
Individuals with Ph.D. and/or M.D. areencouraged to apply. Successful candidates will have achieved hypothesis-drivenmolecular biology research with a published scientific paper. Experience in theanalysis of genomics data and next-generation sequencing library preparationssuch as RNA-seq, ChIP-Seq, are preferred. Any skills with CRISPR genomeengineering technologies will also be valued. Student mentoring and grantwritings are also expected to work in our institute.
