The Medical Eye Center is a six-physician practice with two offices in suburban Maryland: one in Olney and the second in Columbia. Our practice is aging, and our most senior ophthalmologist hopes to retire within the next year or two, provided we can hire a hard-working physician with strong surgical skills to gradually phase him out of the practice. Fellowship training would be desirable but certainly not a requirement. We want the new physician to work four or five days a week. We hope that our new doctor may wish to become a partner after a two-year period. What separates our practice from many others is that a corporation does not own us, and our physicians have control of their daily functioning. Ideally, the position is available after the first of the year (2026), pending licensing in Maryland and insurance company verification, but we are willing to wait for the ideal candidate.
