Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Fellowship-Trained Surgical Oncologist to join our growing and dynamic team at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and strong communication with a commitment to outstanding patient care.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide comprehensive surgical oncology care, including consultation, treatment, and follow-up.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of oncologists, advanced practice providers, and support staff dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.
- Eligibility for faculty appointment to the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.
- Participate in clinical research and contribute to the academic mission of Hackensack Meridian Health.
REQUIREMENTS:
- M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School
- Fellowship training in Surgical Oncology
- Interest and experience in liver and pancreatic surgery
- Strong clinical, communication, and collaborative skills
- Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care

COMPENSATION:
Minimum Starting Base Salary: $407,657

Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the organization.
Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
