Growing together.We are seeking qualified candidates for the role of Surgical Technician at varying levels (I, II). The selected candidate will be placed at the appropriate level based on qualifications and experience. All levels contribute to patient care under the supervision of licensed medical professionals, with increasing responsibilities at higher levels.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Surgical Technician I:- Works in collaboration with the Registered Nurses to provide care of the surgical patient in the OR suite
- Prepares the instruments for each surgical procedure. Scrubs in on surgical cases to prepare instruments and assists the surgeon
- Assists in room turn over and are responsible for instrument decontamination
- Contributes to the orientation of new surgical technicians. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development as it relates to specific age groups
- Works as needed to provide staffing for the ASC OR. This position serves the following age groups: Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric
 
- Surgical Technician II:- Includes all duties of Surgical Technician I

Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Graduate from a surgical technology program which is CAAHEP or ABHES accredited.
- Basic Life Support certification through American Heart Association
- 1+ years of surgical tech experience
- Mastery of basic Surgical Tech skills and extensive knowledge of at least one specialty service
- Basic computer skills
- Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation
Preferred Qualification:
- For Surgical Technician II:- 3 + years of surgical tech experience
 
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.00 to $35.72 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
