Mission Health is excited to welcome experienced trauma physician assistants to join our team in Asheville, North Carolina.

Highlights:

Work with a large, stable and established group of surgeons
Surgical Resident interaction and support on trauma; surgical critical care
100% inpatient
Minimum 6 shifts required per two-week pay period
Day, night and float shifts required
Shift incentives available for exceeding minimum shift requirement
Limited OR time, with ample opportunity to perform procedures in trauma bay and on floor

Requirements

Qualified Candidates:

Completion of an accredited physician assistant program with appropriate certification exams
Requires experience as a practicing PA in a hospitalist, trauma or surgery setting 
Experience with autonomy re: admitting, resuscitating, and rounding on patients
