Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at Albany Medical College
The Department of Urology at Albany Medical College is growing rapidly and we are recruiting physicians in Urogynecology and Recontructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) with an interest in scholarly activity. Your practice will be supported in all other aspects of Urology.
You would join established URPS specialist MDs along with a team of dedicated URPS advanced practice providers, strong nursing and administrative support, in a Department of 14 highly collaborative urology faculty.
Department details:
- Accredited URPS fellowship
- Multidisciplinary urogynecology education and clinics; collaborations include pain management, neurosurgery, interventional radiology, colorectal surgery, GI, PMR and pelvic floor physical therapy.
- World class pelvic pain clinic with Neurology and MIS Gynecology
- Excellent clinical facilities with easy patient access and free parking.
- In office ultrasound, fluoro-urodynamics, cystoscopy, MR prostate biopsy, laboratory technician
- Immediately adjacent to outpatient surgery center in same building
- Outstanding urology residency - with fellowship trained faculty in every Urologic subspecialty. Three residents per year with highly decorated graduates.
- Regular student interactions – rotations are highly rated/valued by our students.
- Multiple opportunities for clinical and basic research, facilitated by four in-house clinical research staff to support the IRB process and research-participant interactions.
- Supported student and resident research rotations.
