Here at Piedmont Heart Institute, we are seeking aBE/BCVascular Surgeonto join our Piedmont Columbus Regional Physicians Surgical Associates practice with two other Vascular Surgeons. This position is hospital employed with Piedmont Physician Group (a multi-specialty practice of 90+ doctors)and is a high-volume practice. This position is supported by clinic and hospital nursing and support team members, robust IT infrastructure, and optimal procedural suites to support services. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high quality and compassionate care to patients. The ideal candidate will support a high volume, complex patient care program that will provide excellent service with outcome-driven, robust cardiovascular options.

The ideal candidate WILL BE VASCULAR TRAINED, FINISHING FELLOWS AND RESIDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY, and be able to perform all the following surgeries including, but not limited to:

• Open surgical and minimally invasive endovascular procedures
• Endovascular therapies for pulmonary embolism
• Interest in Deep and Superficial Venous disease
• Ability to handle procedural work independently
• Comfort overseeing PA/NP
• Comfort performing full breadth of Vascular Surgery
• Ability to be a team player and work well within a multidisciplinary Heart Institute
• Open and minimally invasive endovascular procedures
• Open and minimally invasive treatment of peripheral arterial disease
• Expertise and interest in dialysis access
• Expertise and interest in the treatment of venous disease

Amos Cancer Center is the only oncology center in the area to offer a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary program accredited by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons.The 107,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility employs 5hematology oncologists, 3 radiation oncologists,2 GYN Oncologists, a breast surgeon, a thoracic surgeon, an interventional pain specialist, and additional support staff.
