University of Mississippi Medical Center Department of Pediatrics seeks BC/BE all ranks, including division chief, to join 3 Board-certified Pediatric Gastroenterologists.  The position requires clinical expertise in general gastroenterology with opportunities for bench, translational, and clinical research. There are a variety of research collaborators on campus and a dedicated research faculty member within the division. Batson Children’s Hospital is the only children’s hospital in the state, housing the only level 4 NICU (100 beds), level 1 trauma center for children, and specialized pediatric surgical services serving the children of Mississippi. Strategically placed satellite clinics fulfill our mission to care for the state’s children in a patient and family centered manner. Division members are cohesive, respectful, and enjoy the practice of pediatric gastroenterology and seek the same in their partners. 

Batson Children’s Hospital is in Jackson, MS and is the flagship hospital for Children’s of Mississippi healthcare services.  The Department of Pediatrics has a faculty of 160 with all pediatric subspecialties represented.  Its unique position in the state and constant attention to collaborative work affords it excellent community reputation and support. Jackson’s central mid-south location allows for low cost of living, excellent compensation, and mild winters for year- round outdoor activities.  The area is family centered with abundant children’s sports, dance and music opportunities.  Excellent school choices, both private and public, are available in the metro area. BE/BC Pediatric Gastroenterologist, all ranks, including Division Chief
