The Department of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology at the Yale School of Medicine, is currently seeking board eligible/board-certified surgeons with fellowship training in Breast Surgery to join our growing team.  We are currently seeking Assistant Professor/Associate Professor level candidates; rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Positions are available across the following locations: Yale-New Haven Hospital and Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

In addition to clinical duties, our faculty members provide educational training to medical students and residents, and actively contribute and help develop research goals and portfolio.   Applicants should expect to work in a friendly environment with collegial and supportive administration offering patient-centered care in a multi-disciplinary fashion.  This position is an opportunity to join a growing faculty and build a robust practice in a thriving community in Connecticut.

Yale Medicine has a wide referral network of primary and specialty care physicians.  We are seeking candidates with an academic orientation in clinical care, clinical research, and education.  Candidates will also be joining a world-class breast team at an NCI Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center at the Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven and Yale Cancer Center.  Candidates will have exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to make contributions to the field of Breast Surgical Oncology.  In addition to program planning and development, candidates should also have a background in quality assurance, educational, and operational development.
