Reporting into the Global Education Solutions group, the Manager, Academic Alliances is responsible for developing and leading all aspects of the strategy and execution of engagement and support for key Academic Medical Centers in the education of orthopaedic residents and fellows related to Joint Reconstruction and Sports Medicine. The Manager will work closely with Platform Education Teams, Commercial Teams, Sales, Health Care Professionals, Professional Relations, Medical Affairs and specialty societies to develop and coordinate curriculum for company sponsored Professional Education events of varying sizes.
Responsibilities:

• Establish strong working relationships with KOLs in key focus areas such as Hips, Knees, Shoulders, and Sports Medicine to build and maintain active rosters of surgeon faculty and an on-deck list of potential future faculty members.
• Plan, coordinate and complete national training programs to educate on the safe and effective use of OneMD products and available technologies.
• Develop strategic plans and identify associated tactics to integrate new product and technology solutions into resident/fellow educational programs that support broader organizational objectives.
• Work with specialty societies in support of their resident and fellow curriculum aligned to our product training plans.
• Proactively connect with and accept feedback from field sales, strategic account group, marketing, and other associated teams to ensure training programs are effective and fully aligned with overall business strategies and goals.
• Maintain familiarity with opposing vendors' activities, treatment trends, technology, and new regulations that may present opportunities or threats to the company.
• Collaborate with DS Professional Education platform leads to establish and implement personalized learning journeys and other online learning opportunities tailored to residents and fellows.
• Partner with platform leads to seamlessly incorporate Future Leaders education offerings
• Use data to track results, point to successes and roadblocks, and define solutions

Qualifications

Required:

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required
• Minimum of 5-8 years in healthcare or medical device roles such as Marketing, Product Management, Professional Education, Sales Training, Sales; or other applicable experience required.
• Customer experience in healthcare/ medical device industry
• Prioritization and decision-making in complex situations with opposing inputs.
• Strong data analysis skills
• Ability to handle a dynamic workload.
• Proven record of success in collaborating with team members across functions and tenures.
• Willing to work in cadaveric lab settings.
• Travel up to 40%
