Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) – Thoracic Surgery
HonorHealth Heart & Lung Surgery | Phoenix & Scottsdale, Arizona
HonorHealth Heart & Lung Surgery is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our growing Thoracic Surgery team.
Join a collaborative team of three fellowship-trained thoracic surgeons and three experienced APPs, with the addition of a fourth APP to support continued program growth. This role offers a diverse mix of inpatient care, outpatient clinic, and operating room responsibilities, providing excellent mentorship and opportunities for professional growth.
Position Highlights
- Join a collaborative team of 3 Thoracic Surgeons and 3 APPs
- Opportunity for new graduates or experienced APPs
- Mix of inpatient rounding, outpatient clinic, and first assist in the OR
- Monday–Friday daytime schedule with approximately one weekend call per month
- Primary location: John C. Lincoln Medical Center
- Secondary location: Scottsdale Shea Medical Center
- Work alongside both Thoracic Surgery and Interventional Pulmonology teams
- Epic EMR

Qualifications
- Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care NP preferred)
- Arizona license (or ability to obtain before start)
- Surgical experience is welcomed but not required, new graduates are encouraged to apply
