Phoenix Children's Division of Nephrology is seeking a full-time Pediatric Nephrologist to join our nationally recognized and growing team.
The Division of Nephrology is nationally ranked by U.S. News & World Report and is the largest pediatric nephrology program in the Southwest. Our multidisciplinary team includes board-certified pediatric nephrologists and advanced practice providers delivering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area and across Arizona through an extensive network of outreach clinics.
The division provides care across one of the nation's largest freestanding pediatric healthcare systems, supporting a 484-bed flagship hospital, including 153 intensive care beds spanning the PICU, CVICU, and NICU. Phoenix Children's is home to Arizona's only dedicated pediatric dialysis center, offering inpatient and outpatient hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and a comprehensive Continuous Kidney Replacement Therapy (CKRT) program. We also offer Arizona's only dedicated Pediatric Kidney Transplant Program, providing multidisciplinary care for children with complex kidney disease.

Education and Academic Opportunities
Phoenix Children's launched its ACGME-accredited Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship Program in 2025, reflecting the organization's continued commitment to advancing pediatric nephrology education and training. Faculty have opportunities to teach fellows, residents, and medical students while participating in a growing academic environment.
Phoenix Children's physicians hold academic appointments with the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix, Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine, and Creighton University School of Medicine, with opportunities to participate in clinical, translational, and outcomes research.

Position Requirements
Successful candidates will possess:
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Nephrology
- Eligibility for unrestricted Arizona medical licensure
- A commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Interest in teaching, quality improvement, clinical research, and program development is encouraged
