Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week
Additional Coverage: Inpatient Weekend Rotation (1 Weekend per Month)

Vanderbilt Clarksville Hospital is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) to join a collaborative rehabilitation team dedicated to helping adults restore function, improve mobility, and achieve their personal recovery goals.
In this role, you'll work with a diverse outpatient population, applying evidence-based rehabilitation techniques to help patients recover from orthopedic injuries, surgery, neurological conditions, balance impairments, and other functional challenges. What You'll Do
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based outpatient physical therapy focused on improving strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and functional independence
- Treat patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgery, chronic conditions, and mobility limitations
- Provide gait training, balance training, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and patient education
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge recommendations in accordance with organizational standards
- Participate in safe transitions of care and interdisciplinary discharge planning

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current Tennessee Physical Therapist license or eligibility
- Outpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and patient education skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Contributes effectively to designated team(s), Hospital goals and performance improvement activities in order to achieve Hospital mission
• Provides for a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and coworkers
• Demonstrates competency in evaluation of all areas that PT is responsible for in an accurate and timely manner
• Demonstrates safe and effective treatment/ management of performance areas with all assigned patients
• Demonstrates effective and safe use of the following treatment strategies
• Demonstrates safe and appropriate usage of treatment equipment
• Consistently communicates to PTA and other clinicians involved in the patient care
• Consistently communicates with other outside entities directly involved with patient outcomes
• Completes all necessary documentation completely, accurately, and on a timely basis
• Demonstrates the ability to efficiently complete all scheduling tasks
• Consistently completes billing both timely and accurately
• Demonstrates the ability to provide coverage in inpatient or outpatient therapy
