Position Summary
The University of Utah General Surgery Residency Program is accepting applications for a PGY1 Preliminary General Surgery Resident to begin in July 2026. As a nationally recognized tertiary care academic medical center and the only NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center in the Mountain West, the University of Utah offers a highacuity, academically focused and supportive surgical training environment. Our residents train in an excellent environment with access to to a broad spectrum of operative and non-operative patient care and are well prepared for both competitive fellowships and community practice. We are looking for a preliminary PGY1 general surgery resident to start in July 2026.

ECFMG Certification if applicable.
