MUSC Health Heart and Vascular is seeking a full-time BC/BE non-invasive Cardiologist to join a well-established community-based practice in Orangeburg, South Carolina. You will work with 4 cardiologists, 2 non-invasive, 2 interventional and 5 Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, patient-focused clinician with a strong interest in expanding cardiology services. This practice is part of MUSC Health’s greater Heart & Vascular Center, which provides compassionate care and advanced treatment to patients across South Carolina. MUSC Health Heart and Vascular has been consistently recognized by U.S. News & World Report in heart failure, aortic valve surgery, and heart bypass surgery.
About MUSC Health Orangeburg:
Since it was first established in 1919, MUSC Health - Orangeburg has grown from a small private hospital into a robust regional health care system. MUSC Health – Orangeburg’s network now includes a 286-bed acute care hospital in Orangeburg, a breast center with mobile mammography capabilities, Bamberg-Barnwell Emergency Medical Center, Express Care locations in Orangeburg and Santee, seven primary care clinics, and fifteen specialty practices located throughout Orangeburg, Bamburg and Calhoun counties. Specialty services offered include cardiology, endocrinology, general surgery, urology, behavioral health, neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, orthopedics, vein and vascular services, and outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapy.
Required Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
- Completion of an ACGME Accredited Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program.
- Completion of an ACGME Accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program.
- Previous Cardiology Service Line Leadership.
- Hold an unrestricted South Carolina Medical License.
- Collaborative and collegial demeanor with commitment to high-quality patient care.
- Outstanding communication skills.
